Biography

Armand Isard, initially an agent within the Senate Bureau of Intelligence, rose to become the Director of both the Senate Bureau of Intelligence and Republic Intelligence. Later, in the Galactic Empire, he held the position of Director of Imperial Intelligence. Isard's journey highlighted his significant contributions and close alliance with Supreme Chancellor Palpatine during the Clone Wars, where he played a crucial role on the Security and Intelligence Council, guiding the Republic's strategies.

After the proclamation of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, Isard continued his service under the now-Emperor Palpatine as Director of Imperial Intelligence. Working closely with Lord Vader and the Inquisitorius, he played a crucial role in the Jedi Purge following Order 66. On several occasions, Isard's personnel successfully identified Jedi locations for Vader and Inquisitor Antinnis Tremayne. At the same time, Isard began training his daughter, Ysanne, in preparation for a role as a field operative for Imperial Intelligence.
